This Website

This landing page does not use cookies, analytics tools, external scripts, or external font integrations (even htmx is hosted self-sufficiently). The website, the signup service and the database run on the controller's own servers in Germany. As with any web server, technically necessary access data (e.g., IP address) is processed for the duration of the request in order to serve the page to your browser. Our server does not log IP addresses.

Cloudflare

Access to this website is provided through the network of Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Cloudflare establishes the encrypted connection (TLS) to your browser, forwards requests to our servers through a secured tunnel and protects the site against attacks. In doing so, Cloudflare processes connection data such as your IP address, browser information and the requested address, as well as the content of requests, including the email address submitted via the form.

Legal Basis: our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR). We have concluded a Data Processing Addendum with Cloudflare. The transfer to the USA is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, in which Cloudflare participates, and additionally on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Waitlist Registration

When you register for our waitlist using the form on this website, we process your email address exclusively for this purpose.

Legal Basis: Your explicit consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a GDPR) which you grant by ticking the checkbox in the registration form.

Processing: The form is handled by our own service, which stores your details in a database (PostgreSQL) on our own servers in Germany. On its way there, the request is transmitted through Cloudflare (see above).

Stored Data: Only your email address, a consent flag, and the timestamp of registration. No IP addresses, cookies, or other identifiers are stored permanently.

Retention Period: Until we contact you regarding the waitlist, or until you withdraw your consent.

Backups: To protect against data loss, the database is backed up in encrypted form to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (Oracle Corporation, Austin, USA) in the Frankfurt am Main data center region. Oracle acts as a data processor under the Oracle Data Processing Agreement. Insofar as access from the USA cannot be ruled out, it is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, in which Oracle participates, and on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the availability and integrity of the data (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR, Art. 32 GDPR). Backups are deleted automatically after at most 60 days. Deleted data may therefore remain in older backups for up to 60 days. If a backup has to be restored, we delete any data that was erased in the meantime again.

Your Rights: You can withdraw your consent at any time and request the erasure of your data. Please contact us using the contact details specified in our Legal Notice (Imprint).

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as waitlist registrations, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the browser's address line changing from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock icon in your browser bar.
